Radford anticipating angry Wigan at Hull

Hull FC coach Lee Radford is anticipating meeting a fired-up Wigan team on Friday evening at the KCOM Stadium.

Wigan were beaten by Widnes last week, while FC lost at St Helens, hampering both teams’ chances of claiming the League Leaders Shield.

Radford is expecting Wigan to want to put things right quickly.

“It’s always a tough game against Wigan,” the Hull coach told his club’s official website.

“They’ll be looking for a response after a last week, but so will we. It should be an interesting game.

“They’re chasing top spot like we are, and they’ve been in this scenario before so they know what it takes to win games at this end of the season.”
