Quins teenager steps in for Orr

Teenage half-back Joe Ridley could make his Harlequins debut against Warrington tonight, after Danny Orr was forced to withdraw through injury.

A recurrence of a groin injury means Castleford-bound Orr misses out on a farewell appearance for the London club, in what is their last game of the season.

Essex-born Ridley played rugby union with Colchester Romans until the age of 16 when he made the switch to league. The centre has graduated from the under 16s and under 18s to play in the under 20s competition.

Harlequins, who are expected to make a major announcement surrounding the club’s future before the match with the Challenge Cup winners, have named seven London-trained players in their squad on the evening that they will be celebrating 30 years of rugby league in London.
