Harlequins have signed 23 year old Bradford Bulls stand off Kyle Briggs on a months loan.

The former Championship “Player of the Year” had an outstanding season with Featherstone in 2010 scoring 19 tries and 104 goals.

He was a close season signing for the Bulls, penning a two-year deal with the option for a third year.

Before joining Featherstone, Briggs played along new team mate Luke Gale for Championship One outfit Doncaster.

Briggs joins Quins on a months deal initially with the option to extend. Head Coach Rob Powell stated:

“We are excited to have Kyle on board. He is actually someone we have tried to sign before, so it’s great we have got it through. It gives us a fresh injection and a good option in the halves.”

Kyle is expected to be in the 19-man squad that face Wakefield on Saturday at The Twickenham Stoop.
