Adrian Purtell has been given the all clear to resume his career after a visit to a Specialist this afternoon.

Purtell suffered a Heart Attack at the Magic Weekend last May and has not played since.  He initially got good news in December of last year and was able to start training with the Squad but today’s news is what the player has been waiting to hear.

“I’m absolutely delighted with the verdict of the Specialist and I can’t wait to pull on a Bulls shirt again. I’d like to thank all the Medical Staff, both at the club and at the various Hospitals that I have attended, for their care and also the club for their continued support throughout the past ten months.  I just want to put this behind me now and concentrate on my career.”

Bulls Coach Francis Cummins said: “It’s fantastic news for Adrian, the Bulls and the game. It will be like having a new player on board and I am really looking forward to seeing Adrian playing the game he loves again.”

Chairman Omar Khan said: “This is incredible news, the best.  I am so happy for Adrian who has worked very hard to get to this position and I can’t wait to see him playing for the Bulls.”
