Purtell and Welham back for Bradford

Adrian Purtell and Kris Welham have returned to Bradford’s 19-man squad for the match against Sheffield Eagles.

Purtell has been on the sidelines since injuring his groin in the Leigh Centurions draw at the end of February. He returns to the squad in place of Richie Mathers for Sunday’s game against Sheffield.

Former Super League centre Welham also returns to the squad after a spell on the sidelines with a back injury. Welham was replaced late last week through injury by Jean-Philippe Baile for the derby game against Halifax.

After failing a late fitness test ahead of the Halifax game, Matty Blythe misses out again this week and is replaced by Alex Mellor.

The 19-man squad:
Adrian Purtell, James Clare, Steve Crossley, Dan Fleming, Jonny Campbell, Adam O’Brien, Jay Pitts, Lee Gaskell, Kris Welham, Paul Clough, Mitch Clark, Alex Mellor, Joe Lumb, Danny Addy, Tom Olbison, Omari Caro, Kurt Haggerty, Dale Ferguson, Oscar Thomas.
