Puletua in legal dispute with Salford

Salford forward Tony Puletua has revealed that he is currently engaged in legal action against his employers.

Currently on loan at Hull KR, Puletuahas to be circumspect when discussing the case.

“It is quite disappointing but there is not much I can do at the moment so hopefully we can solve this soon,” he told BBC Radio Humberside.

“It’s not really something I can speak about at the moment, but there are a few things going on between myself and the club.”

Salford have responded to the player’s comments with a statement which reads:

“The club notes with interest comments made by its employee Tony Puletua and is considering the matter further.

“We are disappointed that one of our players has decided to talk publicly about confidential club matters.”
