The 25-year-old winger broke the tibia and fibula in his left leg playing for Castleford Tigers in the engage Super League at Harlequins in July, and had to have a metal rod and screws inserted into the damaged leg.

Pryce praised the medical staff that had helped his recovery, and said he was looking forward to getting back into action.

"At the time, the pain was terrible and I feared the worst but later I was told that the injury was not actually as bad as it looked on TV," he said.

"The specialist surgeon worked wonders for me to ensure that my leg would be fit and strong enough to continue my career.

"I'm now looking forward to getting in the mix with the rest of the lads and to being fully fit and rearing to go in early February."
