PROBIZ sponsor World Club Challenge

PROBIZ will be title sponsor of the 2013 World Club Challenge.

The PROBIZ World Club Challenge takes place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Friday (February 22) when Super League champions Leeds Rhinos host NRL Grand Final winners Melbourne Storm in front of a capacity crowd.

The partnership sees PROBIZ strengthen its association with Rugby League – PROBIZ founder Feisal Nahaboo is the major shareholder of Featherstone Rovers and the company were the title sponsors of the 2011 World Club Challenge, Wigan Warriors v St George Illawarra Dragons.

RFL Commercial Director James Mercer said: “We are delighted that PROBIZ will be sponsoring the 2013 World Club Challenge and look forward to working with them on this event, which is established as one of the highlights on the Rugby League calendar.

“Leeds and Melbourne have been the most dominant and successful clubs in world Rugby League for much of the last decade and PROBIZ will benefit considerably from this association.

“Feisal Nahaboo has a strong affiliation with Rugby League and we are looking forward to working with PROBIZ at the 2013 World Club Challenge and beyond.”

PROBIZ founder Feisal Nahaboo said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for PROBIZ to be involved with one of the biggest matches in world sport and I am honoured and proud to be sponsoring this fixture for the second time in three years.

“The PROBIZ World Club Challenge will be a wonderful spectacle and a tough encounter between two world-class clubs.

“As always, I’m sure this will be a great advertisement for the sport. It’s a privilege to work with the RFL, Leeds Rhinos and Melbourne Storm.

“We look forward to developing our relations with a sport that holds immense integrity and we look forward to working more closely with the RFL over time.”

The 2013 PROBIZ World Club Challenge will be played out in front of a capacity crowd of 20,400 at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Friday night after the last remaining tickets for the showdown between Super League champions Leeds Rhinos and NRL Grand Final winners Melbourne Storm were sold earlier this week.

All the supporters who were unable to purchase a ticket for the match can still watch the historic action unfold as it happens live and exclusively on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD from 7.30pm on Friday (8.00pm ko).
