Tommy Haughey returns for Hunslet Hawks in Sunday’s Co-operative Championship fixture against Toulouse Olympique.

Hawks coach Paul March said: “Tommy coming back will give us a massive lift, and there could be a couple more changes as well.”

He added: “I’m not sure how well Toulouse travel – they’ve had their best results at home this year, so that’s one thing that’s hopefully in our favour.

“They’re big, physical and look to come down the middle. Our forwards need to muscle up and take the game to them on Sunday.”

March has also dismissed suggestions that his team’s morale may be low after last week’s 50-12 Northern Rail Cup reverse against Featherstone.

March said: “The lads know we’ve got to keep working hard and keep fighting.

“It’s a long season and we can’t afford to drop our heads. We’ve got a chance to build some confidence this week, and then go into the York game on Good Friday in good spirits.”

Yoan Tisseyre (thigh) is set to miss the next fortnight for Toulouse Olympique, leaving coach Gilles Dumas with reduced options as he attempts to plot a winning return to action after last week’s 36-26 home defeat by Halifax.
