Powell warns Moors about poor form

Castleford coach Daryl Powell has told back rower Junior Moors that he has a lot of work to do, if he wants to reclaim a first team spot.

Moors joined Cas from Melbourne Storm in the close season, but has found it hard to adjust to Super League rugby.

“He’s just not been playing well enough,” Powell told reporters.

“He needs to respond by fixing his game up. He’s making too many errors to be in the side at the moment.”

One player who will not be returning to action for another two months or so is Tigers full-back Luke Dorn.

The Australian suffered a hamstring problem two months ago which has kept him out of action. He suffered a recurrence this week, and now faces another long spell on the sidelines.

“Luke has had a fair setback,” Powell said.

“He did most of the session and then re-injured his hamstring, which is a bit of a blow.”
