Powell: Quins still have more to work on

Harlequins head coach Rob Powell says his team still has things to work on, despite their impressive victory over St Helens on Friday.

The London club sit in fourth place in the Super League table after picking up four wins from their first five matches, including three from three away from home.

In their latest away victory, Quins opened up a 20-0 lead against St Helens before eventually prevailing 27-16.

Powell said: “Overall, it was a really pleasing performance. However, as a team we probably need to learn to kill a game of. At 20-0 we had the game won and if we are going to compete with the better teams in the competition we can’t let teams get back into it.”

Quins are back on the road again this weekend when they travel to face Challenge Cup holders Warrington.
