Super League winner and current Featherstone Rovers player and coach Adam Cuthbertson is this week’s guest on the Love Rugby League podcast!

The 37-year-old joins host George Riley for this week’s big interview on the podcast.

The former NRL forward discusses the vital influence Wayne Bennett had on him as a youngster. Cuthbertson also talks about his time at Leeds and the success he enjoyed, as well as looking at the current resurgence at the Rhinos.

He also shares the fight for promotion to Super League, with his club Featherstone facing Batley Bulldogs in the semi-finals in the Championship this weekend.

Meanwhile, deputy editor Drew Darbyshire joins the show to discuss all the latest.

Cuthbertson began his professional career with Manly Sea Eagles in 2006, making his debut against Cronulla Sharks. He went on to enjoy more than 50 games for the side, but did not feature in their Grand Final 40-0 victory over Melbourne in 2008.

He went on to feature for Cronulla Sharks, St George Illawarra Dragons and Newcastle Knights in the NRL.

The prop forward made the switch to Super League in 2015 with Leeds, winning the Challenge Cup twice, the League Leaders’ Shield and the Grand Final in 2015 and 2017.

He moved to Championship club York for the 2021 season, before linking up with Featherstone as a player-coach in 2022.
