PNG name Pacific Test side

Five debutants have been named in the Papua New Guinea Kumuls side for the Pacific Test against Fiji next week in Sydney.

Justin Olam and have been selected Stargroth Amean on the wings while Watson Boas gets the nod at halfback.

He will partner his brother Ase who made his debut and only appearance for the Kumuls against France in Hull during the 2013 World Cup

Henry Noki will make his debut as prop. Canberra Raiders hooker Kurt Baptiste has been named on the bench and Gold Coast flyer David Mead at fullback.

Coach Michael Marum said a captain and vice-captain will be named later in the week. The 18-man team will assemble in Penrith west of Sydney on May 2 where they will undergo medical tests.

The Pacific Test against the Batis will be played at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday May 7.
