Players strip off to support testicular cancer

South Wales Scorpions’ rugby league players have stripped off to recognise the testicular cancer charity supporter “Oddballs”.

Oddballs are a clothing company with a difference. They manufacture men’s and women’s briefs as well as bobble hats, but they donate 10% of all of their takings to testicular cancer charities. One of their taglines is “we care about your balls and you should too”.

The Scorpions side have been given hats and boxer shorts to wear during the 2015 season to show their support.

Scorpions’ assistant coach Paul Emanuelli said: “The oddball gear was sent through to Mike and I and we asked all the boys to support this great cause.

“Hopefully the pictures will stir up more interest, get more people supporting testicular cancer charities and be more aware of the disease.

“Plus the bobble hats and boxers are great quality!”

Scorpions’ new Samoan signing Tala Petelo added: “Not that league boys need an excuse to get there kit off, but what better cause!”
