Places available for RFL conference

A half day RFL conference entitled ‘Safeguarding Children in Rugby League’ is taking place at the Hill Crest Hotel in Widnes on Sunday August 8 (9am to 2.15pm).

A few places are still available for the conference which will cover a range of vital issues in relation to child welfare within Rugby League.

Colette Eden, RFL Safeguarding Manager, commented: “This year’s conference will focus on Drug Awareness in the Community Club, How to Recognise Grooming Behaviour and Listening to Children and Young People and hope it will be as well received as the previous conferences.”
