This week I have gone for a Super League treble to get us back in profit for the ever unpredictable 2011 season.  My three teams are Castleford, Huddersfield and Warrington.

Both Cas and the Giants are playing on Friday evening and both are away at Harlequins and Leeds respectively.  I don’t expect there to be any issues for Cas as they are the form side of the competition and face a Quins side that doesn’t seem to know were their next win might be coming from.

Terry Matterson has done a marvellous job and the ability to blood some outstanding youngsters this season has created a good balance in the team.

Huddersfield will go to Headingley brimming with confidence but they must beware a wounded Rhino that has suffered some bad results this season and their home form is extremely poor.  Again, coach Nathan Brown is probably an early contender like Terry Matterson for coach of the year.

Expect a close game between these two Yorkshire rivals but it’s the Giants to edge it for me.

My final selection is Warrington who have lost two on the bounce and won’t want to make it three.  They need to over come a heft handicap of 24 points but I feel there is much more than just four tries between these two sides.

Crusaders are struggling and I suspect things are going to get a lot worse this weekend.  Expect the Wolves to record a landslide victory.

Enjoy your rugby league wherever you are this weekend!
