A lack lustre second half display from the Warrington Wolves cost me my first winning treble last weekend. Both Harlequins and Leeds won easily on the handicap coupon but Warrington let me down badly.

I am however confident that this week my selections will come good. First up is Huddersfield Giants in there top of the table clash with Wigan Warriors. The deciding factor for me in this fixture is the absence of the Tomkins brother Sam and Joel.

Huddersfield were in awesome form last week against Bradford and if they can maintain that form, they will be too strong for this weakened Warriors outfit.

My second choice is the Saturday night live game between Leeds and St Helens. Saints are clearly going through a transitional period whilst Leeds bounced back in style against Salford City Reds last week.

Expect this game to be close but I just think with home advantage Leeds Rhinos are well positioned to inflict more pain on St Helens this weekend.

My final choice is Bradford to spring what some may feel will be a surprise victory over table topping Castleford. Again, I expect this game to be close but Bradford have a great recent record against neighbours Castleford. Couple this with the inevitable improvement on last weekends performance and I just think Cas could be arriving to play the Bulls at just the wrong time.
