Phil Cowburn signs up to West Wales for 2019

West Wales have announced that Phil Cowburn has signed a new one-year deal for the 2019 season.

Full-back Cowburn has re-joined the Raiders and will work alongside new head coach Kim Williams for the upcoming season.

He enjoyed the Raiders following a spell with League 1 side Gloucestershire All Golds and Cowburn was one of West Wales’ standout players last term.

Raiders’ chief executive Peter Tiffin commented: “We are very pleased to see Phil return this season.

“It was a difficult one for all involved last season, but Phil was constantly giving his all throughout.

“I’m looking forward to seeing Phil in action this year as I’m sure he will have a lot more opportunities to help the Raiders cross the whitewash.

“It’s also great to see so much competition for places moving forward.”
