Penrith Panthers make double swoop

Drew Darbyshire

Penrith Panthers have announced the signings of Robert Jennings and Matt Eisenhuth.

Outside back Jennings, 24, has made 60 NRL appearances to date for Penrith, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Wests Tigers. The Tonga international re-joins the Panthers on a one-year deal.

Jennings said: “I was over the moon when I heard there was a chance to come back to Penrith.

“This is where I grew up, where my career started and this is the place I call home.”

Forward Eisenhuth, 28, returns to the Panthers on a two-year deal after making 70 appearances for Wests Tigers.

Eisenhuth said: “I’m so grateful to be back in Panthers colours and can’t wait to get started.

“I’ll never forget how well this club looked after me when I was last here. I’m fortunate to now be in the position to pay the club back.”
