Canberra prop Junior Paulo will join Parramatta on a four-year contract from the 2019 season.

The 24-year-old came through the ranks at the Eels and made his debut for the club in 2013, playing over 50 games, before moving to the Raiders in 2016.

Paulo has earned seven caps for Samoa and will add a lot of size to Parramatta’s pack next year.

Eels coach Brad Arthur is delighted to have secured the services of Paulo.

He said: “I’m looking forward to having Junior back at Parramatta.

“It is always great to have a local Parramatta Eels junior return to our club and I know Junior will be an asset to our team next year.”

Paulo was awarded the Mal Meninga Medal in 2017 as Canberra’s Player of the Year.
