Parramatta release Kieran Foran

Parramatta have released Kieran Foran from the rest of his contract with the Eels.

Foran joined Parramatta from Manly at the end of 2015 in a massive money deal.

The Kiwi star has battled depression and off-field issues this year.

The Eels said in a statement today: “The Parramatta Eels have today granted Kieran Foran a release from the remainder of his contract with the club.

“The Eels wish him well for the future.”

Foran’s departure from the club is expected to free up salary cap space for a move for Jarryd Hayne.
