Parramatta coach Brad Arthur has been handed a new two-year deal.

The Eels had been in negotiations with Arthur for a number of weeks, with his new contract seeing him stay at the club until the end of the 2021 campaign.

Arthur has proved his worth so far in 2019, with the Eels currently sitting eighth in the NRL ladder.

On his new deal, Arthur said: “I feel very fortunate to be able to continue coaching at this great club.

“We have a proud and passionate supporter base and I want us to give them the results they deserve.

“Everyone involved in our football programme realises the responsibility we have in bringing sustained success to our members and fans and that remains our priority.”
