Leuluai future
Wigan half-back or hooker Tommy Leuluai hopes to extend his Warriors career, reports Wigan Today.
Leuluai told Wigan Today: “I’m feeling good, I’ll have a chat to Rads (Kris Radlinski) and if they still want me and feel I can add something, I’ll go again.”
Harrison’s loan move
Featherstone forward James Harrison believes his loan move to Leeds is paying off for him, reports Yorkshire Evening Post.
Harrison told Yorkshire Evening Post: “I am getting used to the level and the speed of things and, the last few weeks, I feel like I have settled in really well.”
Hull KR linked with NRL prop
Hull KR are interested in signing Melbourne Storm prop Albert Vete, reports League Express.
The 27-year-old, who has played six games for Melbourne this season and is a Tonga international, is in talks with the Robins, according to League Express.
Hull making most of play-offs
Gareth Ellis says Hull FC will be making the most of their unexpected play-offs chance, reports The Yorkshire Post.
In his column for The Yorkshire Post, Ellis wrote: “Let’s crack on and for us it is a brilliant chance to do something. Our season would be over now if they had not decided to change the play-offs from top-four to top-six on Tuesday; it’s a free crack at winning.”
Smith’s faith in youth
Hull KR coach Tony Smith will put his faith in young half-backs but he has confirmed he is interested in signing an outside back, reports Hull Live.
Smith told Hull Live: “We’ve nailed our colours and hopes on developing these young half-backs. I think there’s some real excitement about them as well.”
