Penrith Panthers player Bryce Cartwright has been hit with a ‘revenge porn’ attack which has seen a former partner of his arrested.

The player’s former girlfriend, Brittany Hura, allegedly posted lewd photos of Cartwright on social media, apparetnky as retaliation for his conduct at the end of their six-year relationship.

NSW police have confirmed that they have arrested a 24-year-old woman from Constitution Hill.

She has been subsequently charged with the offence of ‘stalk/intimidate with intent to cause fear or physical harm and using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend.’

She has been bailed to appear next Tuesday in Penrith Local Court.

Cartwright had reportedly been seeing another woman as his relationship with Hura ended.

“Police take all reports of intimidation and harassment seriously and encourage any person who believes they are being targeted to come forward and make a report so it can be investigated,” a police spokeswoman said.

Panthers chief executive Bryan Fletcher revealed that the woman’s behaviour over the weekend had seen her referred to the police.

“This is now a NSW Police matter. We are most appreciative of the swift response by NSW Police to this situation,” Fletcher said.

“The priority of Panthers is to ensure the protection, safety and wellbeing of Bryce, his partner and his family. We are affording Bryce all the support we can during this difficult time.

“The club will be making no further comment until NSW Police have concluded their investigations.”

Hura posted a video (since deleted) on Facebook, where she stated:

“You think I’m laughing because I’m mentally f***ed up?

“I’m not mentally f***ed up I’m just laughing at you. You’re going to be dead soon.

“In the grave. Six feet under.”

Hura’s social media accounts have since been deactivated, while the video where she threatened to kill Cartwright has been deleted.

Hura uploaded a photo on Sunday with “RIP” tattooed on her back below a tattoo of ‘Bryce’.

In November, Hura posted a series of posts on social media which made public Cartwright’s alleged cheating on her.
