Paleaaesina extends stay at Hull FC

Hull FC have confirmed that Iafeta Palea’aesina has signed a one-year extension to his contract at the club.

The 32-year-old is now in his third season with the Airlie Birds, having also played for New Zealand Warriors, Wigan Warriors, Salford and French side Limoux Grizzlies.

“I’m over the moon. I’ve always wanted to stay at this great club that has done so much for me,” he said.

“I’ve had a great time here so far and I’m just happy the deal is done.

“I am proud to be part of Hull FC and now I hope I can finish the season strongly.

“My work with the Community Foundation is something I really enjoy and is now something I can look to pursue further.”

Hull head coach Lee Radford is pleased that a player of such consumate professionalism has decdied to stay longer at the club.

“Feka has been a solid signing for us since coming over from France and has had a really positive effect on the rest of the squad,” he said.

“He is a true professional and still makes a big impact coming off the bench.

“His work with the Community Foundation shows how much he cares about the game and he has given a lot back to the fans.

“He has always been really approachable for fans and I hope he can finish this season on a high going into 2016.”
