Oxford Rugby League club has launched its new identity ahead of its entry in to Championship 1 next season.

The shield approach that pays homage to Rugby League’s strong heritage, with a clean, simple city skyline and use of blue and white reflects Oxford’s unique and historic identity.

“Our new logo communicates what Oxford Rugby League club immediately stands for and for the future for Rugby League both locally and nationally.” said Tony Colquitt

“We’ve established visual elements that reflect Rugby League heritage but we wanted to emphasize our forward thinking, our mind-set and objectives to INSPIRE, ENGAGE and ACHIEVE.

Oxford is the City of dreaming Spires and the new brand identity seeks to emphasise this in its brand identity by also using the strap lines ”Oxfordrugbyleagueinspires” and “rugbyleagueinspires” as part of its marketing and communications messages.

“These sentiments are key to the game and vital to the team. We will endeavour to discover and grow new players whilst keeping a realistic focus on sustainability in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.”

Oxford Rugby League club will be launching its new website in the next few weeks. New fans can download free desktop wallpaper by clicking on this link http://tiny.cc/OxfordRL or scanning this code with their phones.
