Ottawa Aces have announced the signing of Ireland international Pat Moran ahead of the 2021 season.

The 22-year-old prop came through the ranks at Warrington before moving to Widnes ahead of the 2020 campaign, where he played seven games before the Championship season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Moran said: “I’m very excited to be joining the Ottawa Aces for 2021 season.

“I’m very grateful for the opportunity and I’m really looking forward to getting started.

“The chance to make history with a brand new rugby league club really excites me. I can’t wait to get it going.”

Ottawa coach Laurent Frayssinous said: “I am ecstatic with the signing of Pat Moran.

“Pat is coming from a good system and is very hungry to make history with the Ottawa Aces.

“He has all the tools to become a great front-rower, and I am very excited to work with him.”
