One Wigan player tests positive as Super League provides coronavirus update

One Wigan player has tested positive for coronavirus following the latest update provided by the Super League.

The player featured in the club’s defeat to Hull KR on Thursday, and is now self-isolating. Following the track and trace analysis, the player has had no close contacts identified, in either the Wigan or Hull KR teams.

Both teams will have further tests today.

Wakefield and Catalans have received the results of their latest round of squad testing, following recent positive tests.

In each case, all the results were negative and they are set to return to training.

There are currently no changes to the upcoming Super League fixtures.
