One more year for Jason Baitieri at Catalans

Catalans forward Jason Baitieri has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 31-year-old has made 240 appearances for the Dragons since 2011. He has won 22 caps for France.

Catalans coach Steve McNamara said: “We are happy that Jason has agreed to a new one-year deal.

“He brings commitment and energy to every game he plays and he will be important to us in 2021.”

Baitieri said: “I am pleased to announce a one-year extension at the Catalans and finish my professional career as a one-club player for this great organisation.

“I am fully committed to bringing another trophy to Perpignan for the club and its great supporters.

“I hope the fans will be allowed back into stadiums quickly so we may show our thanks for their ongoing support.”
