O’Loughlin ruled out of Four Nations

Wigan Warriors loose forward Sean O’Loughlin has been ruled out of England’s preparations ahead of the 2011 Gillette Four Nations.

The 28-year-old, who led the Warriors to Carnegie Challenge Cup glory in 2011, will have an operation on a troublesome left hip later this week, but will be fit for the start of the Warriors pre-season training.

Meanwhile, England coach Steve McNamara and his medical team will, this week, assess medical reports of all players available for national selection from Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves before announcing his 24-man squad for the Gillette Four Nations on Monday October 10.
