O’Loughlin and Charnley in World Club Challenge squad

Skipper Sean O’Loughlin and winger Josh Charnley have been named in the Wigan squad for Saturday’s World Club Challenge against Sydney Roosters.

Shaun Wane has named a 19-man squad for the game at Allianz Stadium, which kicks off at 8pm local time (9am in the UK).

He is without Sam Powell, who misses out after picking up an ankle injury in training.

O’Loughlin and Charnley both sat out Wigan’s Super League opener against Huddersfield earlier this month through injury.

Squad: John Bateman, Matty Bowen, Joe Burgess, Josh Charnley, Tony Clubb, Dom Crosby, Gil Dudson, Liam Farrell, Ben Flower, Anthony Gelling, Darrell Goulding, Blake Green, Jack Hughes, Michael McIlorum, Sean O’Loughlin, Eddy Pettybourne, Dan Sarginson, Matty Smith, Scott Taylor.
