The 22-year-old could make his first senior Super League derby appearance, though he has played against the Black and Whites in preseason.
“I expect fireworks from the derby,” Ollett told the Hull Daily Mail.
“It promises to be feisty but hopefully we can come away from Newcastle with the result.
“I’ve never played in a Super League derby, but I’ve played in a few of the friendlies.
“I’m looking forward to it and if selected I’d be pretty excited by that. It would be my first.”
The young back rower is happy with his form so far in a Rovers first team shirt, but admits that he needs to sharpen up in defence.
“I’ve been going alright but I’ve needed to work on my defence,” he added.
“I’m getting more game time which I’m pleased with.”
