Oldham have signed centre Cameron Leeming for the remainder of the campaign.

The 23-year-old has previously spent time at Hunslet, Keighley and Dewsbury since returning from a year in Australia.

Leeming is in contention to make his debut for the Roughyeds against West Wales on Sunday.

Oldham coach Scott Naylor said: “We needed to strengthen the backs.

“There aren’t a lot of centres around and we’re grateful to Dewsbury for letting us do the deal.”

Leeming added: “I was in and out at Dewsbury and I was looking for a fresh start with a club like Oldham who are fighting for promotion.

“I’m looking for more game time than I got at Dewsbury.”
