Danny Langtree, Dave Hewitt, Kyran Johnson and Dec Kay have signed new deals with Oldham.

Back-rower Langtree, half-back Hewitt and utility-back Kyran Johnson have signed two-year deals with the Roughyeds.

Winger or full-back Kay has penned a one-year contract with the club.

Oldham coach Matt Diskin said: “New coach Matt Diskin said: “Danny, Dave and Kyran had fantastic seasons in the promotion campaign and each of them has the quality we’ll need in the higher division.

“In the early part of last season, Langers had the benefits of working full-time in a Super League environment at Hull.

“His two years in Oldham’s Championship seasons of 2016 and 2017 will stand him in good stead, as will the Championship experience of Dave and Kyran.

‘”Dec is one of those players who all too often goes under the radar. He also has a lot of Championship experience which will come in handy.”
