O’Brien to stay at St Helens indefinitely

Warrington scrum half Gareth O’Brien is to remain at St Helens on a week-to-week basis.

O’Brien, 22, has been on loan at Langtree Park for the past month, making four appearances, including the wins over Bradford and Salford.

A St Helens club statement said: “All parties will review the agreement each week.

“The club would like to thank Tony Smith and Warrington Wolves for their continued co-operation.”
