O’Brien recalled by Warrington

Warrington have recalled half-back Gareth O’Brien from his loan spell at Castleford.

O’Brien, 21, played twice for the Tigers to cover the absence of Rangi Chase, but hasn’t featured in their two games since.

He will now be in contention for a place in Tony Smith’s Wolves squad for Friday’s trip to Salford.

The Challenge Cup holders are still without Lee Briers through injury.
