South Sydney came from behind to pile more misery on the New Zealand Warriors by defeating them 22-16 in Auckland.
The home side raced into a 12-0 lead thanks to tries from Aiden Kirk and Michael Luck but the Rabbitohs struck back to level the scores with a try apiece from Luke Capewell and Fetuli Talanoa.
A try to fullback Wade McKinnon on the stroke of half time gave the Warriors a 16-12 lead at the break.
Souths defended valiantly and were rewarded when Talanoa got his second try after a long run to the line before speedster Nathan Merritt put the result beyond all doubt with a trademark late score.
