NRL top try scorer Maika Sivo extends stay at Parramatta Eels

Drew Darbyshire

Parramatta Eels have given winger Maika Sivo a new two-year contract.

The 25-year-old finished the season as the NRL’s top try scorer in 2019 with 22 tries to his name in 25 games.

Sivo will now remain with the Eels until at least the end of the 2021 campaign.

The Fijian only made his NRL debut in round one but it has been an incredible rise for the speedster, who has become a fan favourite with the blue and gold faithful.

Sivo has earned one cap for Fiji so far and played three games for the Bati at last weekend’s World Cup Nines tournament.

Watch NRL and live stream every NRL game to keep up with how the Burgess boys, John Bateman, Ryan Sutton, Elliott Whitehead, James Graham and all the others are getting on Down Under.
