No fracture for L’Estrange

Further scans have revealed that Bradford’s Heath L’Estrange has not suffered a fracture to his ankle but he is still likely to be out for several weeks.

The 25-year-old was injured during the 30-26 defeat of Crusaders last weekend and was initially ruled out for ten weeks.

But the club have now confirmed that while his ankle is not fractured, he does have significant ligament damage.

The former Manly player will have to wear a protective boot for the next fortnight before he can begin light training.

It is not clear how long he will be on the sidelines for.
