No Arscott for Salford

Salford have denied they are after rugby union winger Tom Arscott.

It had been rumoured that the Red Devils were interested in signing Arscott.

But Salford CEO Ian Blease has confirmed to Love Rugby League that his club has no interest in the former Sale player.

Arscott was sacked by Sale on January 19.

The winger had been accused of allegedly leaking team information to his brother Luke, a Bristol player, ahead of a match between Sale and Bristol.

The 29-year old’s contract has been terminated after a disciplinary investigation and hearing.

Sale and Salford share the same home ground.
