Nielsen confident Bradford can excel in Super 8s

Bradford new boy Dane Nielsen is convinced that the Bulls can do well in the Qualifiers section of the Super 8s.

The Bulls opened their campaign with a fine 42-10 win over fellow Championship side Sheffield, and Nielsen thinks that they have the quality to test the Super League sides in the competition.

“This is a new chapter in my career and hopefully I can play my part in getting the Bulls back into Super League,” Nielsen told his new club’s official website.

“Every team in the Super 8s has something to play for but we have got a great chance.

“It is an old cliché but we are just taking it one week at a time and we are really focused heading into this weekend’s game.

“We have got a good enough team to be competitive, not only in the Super 8s, but in Super League as well.

“That is something that really appealed to me when I was deciding whether to come over or not.”
