Newcastle linked to Fifita

The Newcatle Knights have been linked with an attempt to bring Wakefield forward David Fifita back to the NRL in 2017.

Fifita only signed for Trinity at the start of this month from Cronulla.

The Australian agreed to a deal for the rest of the 2016 season, with the option of another year.

But according to Fox Sports, the Knights are keen to lure Fifita back to the NRL next year.

Fifta has played two games for Wakefield so far, scoring two tries in the club’s quarter-final Challenge Cup win over Huddersfield.
