Winger Sosaia Feki has landed in the UK ready to start pre-season with new club Castleford on Monday.

Feki, 28, arrives at The Jungle from Cronulla Sharks and will be presented to the media for the first time later this week.

He said: “I’m pretty excited, I was nervous at the start but I’m here and I’m looking forward to it.

“It’s a new challenge I’d been at Cronulla for seven years and Castleford gave me an offer and I’ve taken it with both hands and it’s a new challenge that I’m looking forward to!”

Feki, who was born in Auckland, played twice for Tonga between 2013 and 2015.

He is one of five new signings for Daryl Powell, along with Salford pair George Griffin and Derrell Olpherts, Tyla Hepi from Toulouse and Danny Richardson from St Helens.

The Tigers have also signed Jordan Rankin on a permanent deal, after the full-back or half-back spent last season on loan from Huddersfield.
