New name for Featherstone ground

Featherstone’s Post Office Road home has been re-named the LD Nutrition Stadium as a result of a new sponsorship deal.

LD Nutrition, a local company founded last year, take over the rights from Big Fellas nightclub, who have held the naming rights for several years.

Rovers GM, Davide Longo, said: “We have formed a fantastic partnership with LD Nutrition and this announcement represents a fresh and exciting new chapter within it.

“This is a long-term commercial agreement and one which will prove extremely beneficial for both parties, with LD Nutrition already looking at eventually moving on site here as part of their own expansion plans for the future.

“It is a great privilege to be working with such a forward-thinking organisation. We are moving into an exciting new era at Featherstone Rovers and everyone is thrilled to be welcoming another big player to the table.”

Bradford will be the first visiting team to play at the newly-named LD Nutrition Stadium on Easter Monday.
