New Leigh deal for Ridyard

Leigh half-back Martyn Ridyard has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

Ridyard, 25, helped the Centurions to Northern Rail Cup glory last season, and has become one of the stand out players in the Championship since re-joining the club from local amateurs Leigh Miners in 2008.

Leigh coach Paul Rowley told the club’s official website: “Martyn is an integral part of our ambitions as a club going forward. He is a home grown player, and is very talented.”

“I’m looking forward to seeing Martyn progress, and become an even better player over the next two years.”
