Huddersfield Giants have revealed that new head coach Simon Woolford has landed in the UK, following his wait for a visa.

The Yorkshire-club posted a picture on their Instagram page earlier today (@giantsrl_official) picturing the coach in the UK alongside Head of Performance Mark Andrews.

Woolford will be taking charge from interim coach Chris Thorman, who has helped Huddersfield climb up the ladder and just one-point away from eighth placed Salford Red Devils.

The former Newcastle Knights assistant coach and professional player could attend Huddersfield home fixture tonight against Salford, which could see them make their way into the top eight.
