New directors in at Castleford

Castleford have appointed three new faces to its Board of Directors.

John Duff, Managing Director of Mend-a-Hose Hydraulics Ltd; Dion Lowe, Dealer Principal of DM Keith Skoda Ltd and Terry Cheesbrough all join the Board as part of the Club’s restructuring plan recruiting new and experienced business people to help drive the Club forward.

Castleford Tigers CEO, Steve Gill said: “I am extremely pleased that John, Dion and Terry have agreed to join the Board of Directors and they were influential in the recent appointment of our new Head Coach Daryl Powell.

“All three are successful individuals that bring a new dimension to the Board along with business acumen, advice and a commitment to Castleford Tigers.

“They are each highly respected members of the business community, have their own unique perspective and have supported the Club over a number of years in various ways; from differing levels of sponsorship of both the senior and junior sides to being on the terraces both home and away.

“I have said before that one of the key aspects in making this Club successful on and off the field is the restructuring of the Board of Directors. These three who we proudly announce today and Steve Vause, who joined the Board in April, share our passion for the Club and the vision of where we want to be.

“I believe that we need one more key player to join the Board and I’m hopeful of being in a position to announce that next week.”
