Wakefield have confirmed that prop Paul King and hooker Julien Rinaldi have signed new one-year contracts with the club.

King, 31, joined the club for the 2010 season from home-town club Hull while former French international Rinaldi was a mid-season signing after a spell as player-coach with French side Villeneuve Leopards.

John Kear, the Wakefield Head Coach and Director of Rugby, said: “Both Paul and Julien worked hard last year and made significant contributions to the team during a tough season for the club.

“We have some outstanding young players emerging from our development system and both Paul and Julien will provide them with good role models as well as being able to make their own contribution to what will be an important season for the Wildcats.”

Rinaldi is in his second spell at Belle Vue, having initially played for the Wildcats in 2002, before moving on to Catalans, Harlequins and Bradford.
