North Wales trio Simon Atherton, Gavin Conroy and Lee Hudson have signed new one-year deals with the club.

Former Hemel hooker Hudson, back-rower Atherton and ex-Widnes St Maries winger Conroy have helped Crusaders to nine wins in League 1 this season, which sees them in 10th place in the table.

Crusaders CEO Andy Moulsdale said: “It’s important that we are already well underway in terms of planning for next season both on and off the field.

“We already have Kenny Baker, Karl Ashall and Tommy Johnson signed up for next year, so to be adding three more to that list is great.

“Over the next few days supporters will see further announcements as we look to build a strong squad capable of challenging in the Betfred League One in 2019.

“Our focus is on improving in all areas both on and off the field, and a big part of that is centred around retaining the majority of the squad as well as adding a few quality signings.”
