Hull KR back rower Graeme Horne has signed a new two-year contract at the club.

Horne, 28, joined Rovers from Huddersfield in 2008 after previously spending eight years with Hull FC.

A delighted Horne said, “I am over the moon to sign a new two-year deal.

“I have had a great two years at the club so far and have really enjoyed it. The fans have been fantastic and I feel at home here.

“The club have been absolutely great to me, we’ve got an excellent bunch of lads and it’s a pleasure to be here. We’re all at home with each other and we all have a laugh together.

“I did a lot of travelling when I was at Huddersfield and being close to home is what I want, so I’m delighted to be staying for another two years. The stability at the club is important too and I’ve learnt a lot off Sandy (Craig Sandercock), so to extend my contract with Rovers is brilliant.”

The Scottish international forward has made a total of 44 appearances for the Robins so far, scoring 10 tries.
